    Works great

    Only used a few times. So far seems good suctions to the counter very well. Easy to take apart to clean and works well. Would have gave a 5 star but I have not had it long so don’t know how the longevity of it is yet. All the parts seem to be decent quality and works smooth.

    Great for shredding & slicing!

    This cheese grater has been a lifesaver. I call myself a lazy cook, and so have been looking for ways to shred and slice cheeses and veggies more easily and quickly. This grater has been perfect at being quick at slicing and shredding, taking on a large volume of veggies/cheese due to the large funnel, and being easy to clean (I am a dishwasher loyalist).The suction on the bottom holds the grater very firmly in place, which I didn’t even realize was something I needed to consider for a rotary grater until I actually used it and realized how much it would have moved around otherwise.The setup of the grater is easy, but be very careful to not cut yourself. You need to attach the shredder part first before you can attach the handle, so make sure you hold the shredder using the red edge so you don’t get hurt.I also really appreciate the pusher they provide so you don’t have to risk your fingers or utensils trying to push down the veggies/cheese.Overall, this rotary grater is fantastic and has been perfect for my needs!

    Minimum effort, outstanding results

    For years, I’ve been using one of those manual square graters with a handle on top. They work fine but for some cheeses, especially soft ones like mozzarella, it can be difficult to handle. You’re left with a ball of cheese in your hand which you just can’t fully shred.This machine handles grating cheeses, even soft ones, with such ease and efficiency. The distance between the plunger and the rotating blade is so small that there is absolutely nothing left from the hopper. Everything goes through the grater. I baked a lasagna yesterday and it handled the mozzarella with ease. Then I changed the rotary grater to the extra fine blade and it handled the parmesan with equal ease. Changing blades was very easy as the handle has a quick release button; pull out the existing blade and snap on the new one. Effortless.The machine is well designed for ease of cleaning as well. A simple push of a button will release the casing assembly. Although they say this is dishwasher safe, we never put plastics or blades in the dishwasher. Plastics tend to crack and cloud up and blades get dull with the constant bombardment of abrasive dishwasher soap. We just wash and rinse in the sink and with the parts being so large, it’s no trouble at all.One of the best features of this cheese grater is its stability. The bottom has a nearly 1 inch rubber gasket all around the perimeter of the base so it can grab hold of the surface very well. Once you activate the suction lever, this machine isn’t going anywhere… it sticks to the surface very well. It makes for a very stable use of the machine.In our kitchen, this has replaced our old metal, manual grater so this is not taking any extra space. For minimal effort, you get excellent results, every time.
